About CYSM Sea Dragons
CYSM Sea Dragons is a Melbourne-based dragon boating team known for its friendly, inclusive culture and strong sense of community. We welcome people from all backgrounds who are interested in learning more about Chinese culture, improving fitness, and building teamwork through sport.
Our team first began competing in 1985 and has grown into a competitive club that trains hard while maintaining a fun and social atmosphere. Today, we regularly compete in local regattas as well as State and Australian Championships.
Our Achievements
At AusChamps 2018, CYSM Sea Dragons achieved personal best performances across all entered categories. The Open 10s crew proudly earned:
- 🥈 Silver – 200m race
- 🥉 Bronze – 500m race
- 🥉 Bronze – 2000m sweeps race
These achievements reflect our dedication to teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.
